Project Detail

Roberts Engineering Group completed an extensive survey at various locations throughout the City and prepared plans, specifications, Engineer’s Estimates, and permitting for the construction of three stormwater pump stations, two elevated emergency generators, and the upgrade of existing gravity storm sewers. The generators were designed to be above the 500-year flood hazard elevation. The new pump stations were designed as a result of flooding during Superstorm Sandy and are provided to decrease flooding and provide more time for evacuations during an emergency. This project was funded by the Community Block Grant Development Disaster Relief Fund
